Project Overview
Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour was transformed into a six-meter-long artistic installation, merging technology and art to create a platform where anyone with creativity could paint their vision onto one of the world’s largest digital canvas.
This innovative project blends light art with an immersive experience, utilizing projection mapping and 3D technology to reinterpret the stunning scenery of Victoria Harbour. It offers audiences a fresh perspective on the city’s iconic skyline.
Role & Contributions
3D Model Optimization – Refined and optimized 3D models to ensure compatibility with projection mapping and 3D printing.
UV Mapping & Texture Creation – Led the enhancement of surface details to improve projection accuracy and visual impact.
3D Printing & Physical Production – Converted digital models into printable formats, ensuring precise details and faithful reproduction of the design.
Projection Mapping Setup – Designed and adjusted the scene layout for seamless integration of lighting, structures, and projection content, delivering an immersive visual experience.
This project seamlessly merges art and technology, reshaping Victoria Harbour’s lightscape while providing a world-class digital canvas for creators to bring their imagination to life.
